Shine Bright is Growing in Bendigo – enrolments are open at Kennington! 
We’re thrilled to announce that the new Kindergarten at Kennington Primary School will officially be joining the Shine Bright family!
As part of the Victorian Government’s rollout of fully funded three-year-old kindergarten, a brand-new kindergarten is being built on the Kennington Primary School site – and Shine Bright is proud to be appointed as the provisional operator.
Opening is planned for Term 1, 2026, and the new service will feature three kindergarten rooms catering for up to 99 children.
Shine Bright CEO, Richie Evans, said the new kindergarten is the second Shine Bright service in Kennington, joining a strong network of 17 Shine Bright services across the Bendigo region.
“Having multiple services closely located gives us great collaborative opportunities between our teams. This new kindergarten will benefit both families and our staff, with shared resources, ideas, and strong organisational support,” he said.
Chief of Education, Belinda Schultz, added that the new kindergarten will make life easier for local families and support children’s smooth transition to school:
“Children become familiar with the school environment and routines before starting Prep – helping them feel confident and secure.”
